Funny skit on Independence Day theme

I was inspired by Kapil Sharma in "The Kapil Sharma Show" while writing the script of this freedom-themed skit.

The intention is to make it a funny, light-hearted, and a comedy play that can be performed by anybody without any acting or theatre experience.

The different characters in this skit were looking for freedom from their experiences like husband from his nagging wife; master from his servant; and a don from political parties.

But, the skit became more hilarious in the end when don was finally caught not by police or politicians but by someone else...

Please watch this complete video to know more and share it with your friends.

I felt grateful to direct my super-talented office colleagues in this play and by doing a screenplay.

Parking in-charge
Bank Manager
Stranger 1

A short poem to be narrated in the beginning:-

(1)    A boy asked his mother while sipping tea,
Ma, what is CORRUPTION that we see?

   Mother replies...

(2)    When guilty eat ghee and flee,
When happiness does not come for free,
This is called CORRUPTION that we see

(3)    The greed to have more money than fishes in the sea,
When people don’t listen to their inner voice or disagrees,
This is called CORRUPTION that we see

(4)    When a common man has to come to his knees,
When belongingness ends in the global family tree,
This is called CORRUPTION that we see

Lines for anchor:

(5)    Let us watch this skit and foresee,
The devil called CORRUPTION at its highest degree
